Downton Abbey & The Great Gatsby set the season's Bridal Trend

It’s bridal season again, and this year more than ever before it’s obvious that life imitates art.  On Downton Abbey Lady Mary finally married Matthew, while the downtrodden Lady Edith got jilted at the alter, giving the show’s costume designer Susanna Buxton an opportunity to style 2 post World War I wedding gowns.

Then there’s the upcoming The Great Gatsby with costumes by Catherine Martin in collaboration with Miuccia Prada, which from the look of the movie trailer will prove to bolster the roaring 20’s trend.

Yesterday the New York Times posted a video with Styles reporter Bee-Shyuan Chang and Mark Ingram showing some of this years bridal designs;
