“Lately I keep returning to the importance of following intuition. In interior design there are so many things to consider – the scale of a room, the style and function of the space, and many other important factors that must all be handled sensitively.
It’s when you second guess yourself that your vision is compromised. My best projects – the ones which I’m most proud of, the ones my clients are happiest with – are spaces that stem from the first idea the client and I agree on.
It’s in that moment, when the sparks are flying and your gut is telling you ‘this is right’ that the best ideas live. And once that idea exists, you mustn’t second guess it. Follow your intuition. As I’ve learned in both life and design, it never lets you down.”
