After 2 seasons IKKON.com has proved itself to be a one stop shopping experience for mens high fashion, offering some of the world’s top brands.
The company was founded by Kristen Pazik-Shevchenko and her 2 sisters Kara, and Marisa. Kristen is a former model from the states who is married to Andriy Shevchenko, a world-class soccer player from the Ukraine. They met in Milan where Kristen was working at the time, and Andriy was playing for the world-renowned soccer team AC Milan.

Kristen and her sisters felt there was something missing in the e-commerce market for mens fashion, and after much research decided to launch IKKON. All 3 women have past experience in the fashion world. They called upon their good friend Crystal Marquess who lives in Milan to help them. She is EVP of the company.
I chatted with Crystal in Italy yesterday, and asked her a few questions about the company’s current vision – and what the future holds.
What sets IKKON apart from other major online menswear shops?
What sets us apart from the other mens fashion e-commerce sites is our highly edited selection. We don’t overwhelm our customer with a never-ending scroll of shirts. Instead we say, this is the best selection of shirts this season, trust us. The Pazik sisters all have a background in fashion, and I think you see that when you visit our site.
What has been one of your favorite finds in menswear?
That’s a difficult question. There are so many great menswear brands out there. I love Ovadia & Sons. The brothers who own the firm, Ariel and Shimon, really bring men’s fashion up a level. I also love Alberto Moretti’s velvet mocs – in my opinion they are a must have in any man’s wardrobe. Alberto and his brothers wear them with everything, and they are the picture of style.
What is it that makes the IKKON shopping experience so unique?
I think what brings our customers back is our selection of brands, our easy to navigate site and our customer service. I think the Pazik sisters have brought something to men’s fashion that wasn’t offered previously.
What can we look forward to in upcoming seasons?
We’re always on the lookout for new designers. For Spring/Summer 2013 we have added some great new names to our designer list. We know our customer has high standards and we expect to meet them.

I love this sweater because it’s a throwback to a vintage pull-over. It could be just as easily worn with jeans and a blazer or straight onto the slopes of Aspen.

This shoes has everything you need in a dress shoe. It’s extremely versatile. With todays styles it could be worn with a modern tuxedo, or casually pared with jeans.

RICK OWENS
Any leather jacket from Rick Owens is a favorite for me. I chose this one because I love anything asymmetrical. This jacket is fitted, but retains a sense of ease; great with a tee-shirt in spring or with a turtleneck in the fall.

This Jim Rickey sneaker has very chic New York street style. They’re clean, they’re smart, and very ‘on-point’ with today’s trends. They could be worn with anything.
