Rapportive is a Chrome extension for Gmail that makes it easy to keep in touch with your Gmail contacts across social media.  After installing the tool, you’ll see a detailed profile of your each person you email, with the option to connect across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more.

Understanding technical jargon (at least for me) can be daunting, so I’ve included a helpful tutorial to help familiarize yourself with the software.
