A sneak peak at the redecorated New York Showroom

CJ Dellatore Brunschwig & Fils NYC showroom 1

………………………….

The much awaited completion of Brunschwig & FilsNew York showroom has finally arrived. Upon walking into the refreshed showroom last week, I was pleasantly surprised by the youthful and glistening impression it’s putting forth.

The signature Brunschwig plaid, rendered in the entrance’s marble floor is a real sensation.  Wouldn’t you agree?  And the rest of the showroom is equally breathtaking…..

It’s always a challenge to find a handsome sleep sofa that will stand up to the rest of your custom upholstery.

Warren Street's Newest Atelier in Hudson, New York

CJ Dellatore FR Gillette 2…………………………

This past Saturday I was invited to the opening reception of FRG Objects & Design Gallery – the newest atelier on Warren Street in Hudson, New York.

There were a handful of well know interior designers in attendance, including Thad Hayes, Stephen Shadley, and great friend to this blog Alan Tanksley; and it’s no wonder, because in addition to the collection of recent paintings on display by Hudson Valley artist and resident Joseph Conrad-Ferm, there were many desirable pieces of mid-century furniture….

Design Business Blogging: Part 1

Establishing Your Goals and Identifying Your Customer

CJ Dellatore Business Blogging…………………………

Last Friday we published our 250th post in just over 18 months.  It was a lot of work researching and writing them, but in doing so we’ve accomplished quite a few of our goals.

Among them was my personal goal to work with interior designers and vendors in establishing blogs, and crafting effective content marketing strategies.  Having accomplished that I decided to write a series of posts on what I’ve learned about blogging, as I am firmly convinced that content marketing is something that every design professional and product vendor should consider to advance their business.

I’ve concluded there are 3 distinct steps to consider for creating an effective blog: establishing goals and identifying customers, crafting compelling content, and promotion.  In this post I’ll share how I help clients set goals for their blogs, and the simple method I employ to help them understand their customers.

North Miami Shopping

In a little known enclave you need to discover

CJ Dellatore North Miami Shopping

…………………………

After being in Palm Beach for a week shopping and working, I decided to venture south to see what was up in Miami.  There is a small unofficial district of galleries and vintage dealers sprinkled about in the North Miami area.

If you exit I-95 at Northeast 125 Street and travel east, you will come to a two block smattering of shops all located on the north side of the street between NE 7th and 9th Avenues.  Your landmark is MOCA, North Miami located at 770 NE 125 Street.  Don’t blink because you will miss it all together.
