For my review of this weeks Mens Spring/Summer 2014 shows in London I choose a different angle – instead of good or bad reviews I decided to select my personal favorite 20 looks, pieces that I feel are the most wearable clothes for the modern well dressed man.

The colors are jewel tones, brights and black.  The fit is easy, classy and tailored – from the street to the office to dinner.  These are the looks I predict will be the must-haves for Spring of next year.

Christopher Kane gave us relaxed and easy clothes with the emphasis on graphic accents.  All the exits were 100% on point.

Agape Mdumulla and Sam Cotton of Agi & Sam showed a brilliant bright collection.  My personal favorites were the shorter fitted blazers and cropped pants.  They were perfectly proportioned.  Take notes gentlemen – this is the way to work this look.

Christopher Bailey of Burberry Prorsum was… well all I can say is “The Perfect Collection” – every piece was outstanding.  I want everything!

Richard Nicoll is what spring/summer is all about.  He gave us the perfect leather motor cycle jacket, and animal printed trench, and easy breezy cotton summer jackets, shirts, pants and shorts.

Richard James showed a masterfully dapper collection. The best checked ‘a little easy at the shoulder’ jackets, cotton cuffed slim trousers, beautiful dress shirts, and embroidered espadrilles.  An extremely classy, stylish, modern and chic collection.

I know this is the first official weekend of this summer, but with these looks I can’t wait for summer 2014.  Later this week I’ll be posting an interview with Tommy Bahama’s Senior Vice President and Creative Director of Women’s Sportswear Stephen Cirona about the exciting changes in store for the company.
